Just wanted everyone to know the conditions i have been laboring under as i update this website...seriously, we almost feel not right that we are here, and many are not..its just so nice, quiet, nooooo humidity, just unreal. We're adding another slideshow "Week After Irene"....as i write this, i have to take another picture. Its been quite the 2 weeks for Hannibal, he must be exhausted.
Plan is leave tomorrow (Saturday), or next day (Sunday)...or Monday (Monday)...leave the Labor Day bbq to somebody else.

Olga, as far as emotions go it has been somewhat of a "roller coaster" ride...1st week with the kids...then prepare, worry and live thru irene, mop up and enjoy the nearly deserted island, anxious for news, sad about others less fortunate, happy power is restored, work-detail jobs, marvel at the quiet and awesome weather, sad to prepare for the return home...not your typical vacation! mark&kathy
