We're home now, looking at pictures in the camera. We've been reminded more than once by friends that it really wasn't the smartest thing we've done, to stay at the beach house for a hurricane. And in the interests of a "PSA" (and heeding the advice of Salvo Jimmy, from OBX Connection) we won't be doing this again. Anyway, our last slideshow "Home from Irene" has the last of our pics...or most of the last. 1st day back to work is over, i think the "vacation" is catching up to us...i want to lay down.Tuesday, September 6, 2011
Home From Irene

Hey guys, it;s Joe M in Ohio, Still checking you out every weekend.Man,, at 1st I was looking forward to checking out you week at the beach with the family, then you go and stay throuh Irene, and the week after, { very bold decision }.. joe, was talking to a friend down there yesterday...his garden in hatteras swamped with a foot of sea water..you don't tend to think about stuff like that...and with 0 tourists the restaurants are closing up. don't know why they don't have a 'florida keys' style roadway down there...mr
