We're back from the 3 day trip, and convinced that you can get alot done in 3 days. For followers of this blog, the upstairs kitchen now looks just like the downstairs kitchen after we ripped it out...the same green walls, brown speckled flooring and roughed-in plumbing. We haven't quite decided on exactly how we are going to "fix" the kitchen, but at least we know what we've got, and there were no surprises. It's always nice to leave with a project done (or nearly done) and in this case the living room really came together fairly quickly. Kathleen's cushion covers are fitting, the colors are matching. Trim work still needs to be done, but with color on the walls we can really begin envisioning the end result.

thanks joe for checking in. sent a key to hatteras realty for them to provide a rental prospectus, as response has not been what we had hoped. but i'll keep updating the blog...m
