Kathleen measures bank to be 4 feet high.  My first thoughts: a) now we know (without surveying equipment) how high the downstairs' door threshold is above road height and b) I'm so glad we didn't have to access the water meter this time. 
With skidsteers, backhoes and escavators crawling everywhere, this will be gone soon.
