What is it about us and storms? It's Sunday, and once again we have to figure out when low tide is if we are to get through Rodanthe heading north...mom and i and hannibal have been down here for the week, on (you guessed it) another work detail. Lee came down with mom a few weeks ago (even took Hannibal) so i was a bit lonely up north, so it was my turn this week.
So check out the pictures of the new fish cleaning table, new upstairs end tables, blinds, bedroom head board (made by Kathleen), refinished tv stand, trim painting, new attic door, and an in-process dining room table (another Kathleen project). Downstairs, new bed and a new front door lock.
Weather has ranged from 'warm in the sun/out of the wind' to 'biting-windy-cold', but its still always better here than in NY. Neighborhood is fine, Christy and Fred have yet to dig out from the "Vets Day" storm, the A-frame owners have a contractor inside working, and its been very quiet all week.
